You have done the hard work – your forms are live, the data flows and the severity forms do what they do best: information collection. But now comes the delicate part … What do you do with all this data?
Export it to excel? Manually compile reports? Spend hours create graphics in third -party tools?
There is a better option. Take advantage of the data management capacities of severity forms as well as powerful display options and reporting tools offered by Gravitykit and transform your inputs in fully interactive dashboards – no required code.
Transform your form inputs into dashboards
Very often, important data remains stuck in silos, which makes it difficult to share and analyze. This can lead to bottlenecks, an obstacle to business growth and a reduction in efficiency. Dashboards help release your data for more effective visualization and analysis.
Dashboards promote increased visibility for stakeholders and team members. Having a dashboard directly on your WordPress site also removes the need to create reports in Excel or other third -party tools, which allows you to save time and efforts.
So what tools provides Gravitykit for this to happen?
- Gravityview – This application manufacturer allows you to create dynamic and front displays for your data using drag and drop.
- Gravity – Create graphics to view the data from your forms; Find out how the measurements change over time or compare key data points.
- Gravitymath – Perform advanced calculations on your data to follow key measurements and data points.
Before diving into some examples of the real world, here is the basic process for building dashboards using gravity and gravitykit forms:
- Step 1: Create your form under severity forms (or use an existing).
- Step 2: Use GravityView to create a front provision for data.
- Step 3: Add graphics to view the data and follow the trends.
- Step 4: Add live calculations to stay above key measurements.
- Step 5: Configure filters, research fields and user authorizations.
- Step 6: Publish your dashboard for internal or public visualization.
Let’s take a look at a few examples of the real world linked to non -profit organizations, small businesses, educational establishments and fitness platforms.
Non -profit (fundraising and donations)
Gravity Forms supports a range of different payment bridges, offering non -profit organizations an easy way to accept donations via their website. Using Gravitykit, non -profit organizations can go further by building dashboards to follow donations and fundraising campaigns!
First, start by creating a new donation form. You can do this using the Gravity form donation form model.
Then install one of the additional modules of the payment gateway supported (such as Paypal or Stripe, for example). Now that you have a way to accept donations via your website, you can build a dashboard to follow your fund collection activities.
Start by configuring a new view using GravityView.a View is a customizable visual interface for your form data that you can integrate anywhere on your site. Start by selecting the arrangement of the table to present the donations in a table with lines and columns, and select the fields you want to display.
Then use GravityCharsto Create graphics to view the donations over time and the amount collected over different periods. The graphics are added to the forms of gravity as the lines, so you can have several graphics per form.
After configuring your graphics, you can add them to your view in the form of widgets.
The last piece of the puzzle uses Gravitymath to calculate key measurements and summary statistics. Gravitymath provides a practical shortcut to make advanced calculations on your form data. You can use it to summarize all donations of donation and total donations received.
Finally, add these calculations to your view by inserting shortcode into a personalized content widget. Here is what the view editor looks like after adding all the widgets and fields.
That’s it! Here is what the dashboard finished at the front looks like:

Company (expenditure tracking)
In this following example, we will show you how to create a commercial dashboard for monitoring expenses.
Start by creating a new form that allows team members to submit expenditure reports. Include a digital field for the amount spent, a drop -down field for the expenditure category, a single -line text field for a brief description of the expenses and another drop -down field for the State.
Then create a new table view using the GravityViewto group and display expenses. This allows you to easily see the date on which the expenses occurred, the category, a brief description and the amount spent.
The next step is to configure the graphics. Use Gravitycharts to create a graphic for sectors to view expenses by category and a bar graph to display expenditure by status.
After creating your graphics, add them to your view using the Gravitycharts widget. You can also add a search bar, allowing users to filter expenses by date, status or category.
The last step is to create the high summary table showing the total amount spent on each category. You can do this using the Gravitymath summary widget.

Education (student portals)
Educational institutions often need to create portals and pages of resources for students and staff. In this example, we show you how to build a student portal for assignment bids and class hours.
Start by creating a form that students can use to submit their homework. Make sure to include a file download field so that students can download their assignments in various file formats. Finally, include an administrative number field that teachers can use to award a note after examination.
Then create a table view using GravityViewWhere that students can display their submitted duties, as well as the note they received.
With GravityView, you can also configure a single input page where users can display more information on a specific input. Here we will add the entry notes field to display the teachers’ comments.
In severity forms, the entry notes allow users to leave comments on specific form inputs. With GravityView, these notes can be viewed and added directly from the front.
To ensure that students cannot see their own work and not the assignments of other students, add an advanced filtering condition to restrict entries to those created by the user currently logged in.
The last step is to configure the remaining elements of the dashboard. What you add here will depend on the information you want to show to students. For example, you can use Gravitycalendar to display courses or upcoming courses and events.
Here is what the student gate finished at the front:
By clicking on how feedback opens a modal available to the single entry, where students can see more details on their submission, as well as the comments of their course teacher.

Fitness (Tracker training)
The latest example is a training journal and a fitness tracker that you can use to measure your progress over time and follow your training sessions.
Start by creating a form to record your training sessions. You can use list fields for journalization exercises, sets and representatives! Include a separate field to measure your progress over time. So if your goal is to lose weight, add a field to record your weight.
The next step is to create a view using GravityView to view your training journal and a graphic with Gravitycharts to see your weight loss progress over time.
