What’s new in Gravity 1.6.1?
With Gravity SMTP 1.6.1, you’ll discover a number of new features to improve the usability of the plugin and help improve the developer experience. Let’s take a look.
Resend emails from the email log table
If sending emails fails, it’s important that you can resend them quickly and easily. In version 1.6.1, we added a resend button to the Email Logs table, so you no longer need to open each individual log to resend an email.
Combined with the new search and filter functionality, introduced in Gravity SMTP 1.6 to help you easily find logs based on certain criteria, you will now be able to manage and resend emails with greater efficiency.
Further details on the email log and the new forward button can be found in the Gravity SMTP documentation.
Hide sensitive data via constants
If you run an agency or have multiple users accessing your WordPress admin, you may want to hide sensitive data, including API keys, client IDs, and secrets.
You’ll now find new constants for each integration, which you can add to your site’s wp-config.php file, helping you store this information securely outside of the WordPress admin interface. This method ensures that your sensitive data remains hidden from any user accessing the WordPress dashboard.
For more information, see the Gravity SMTP documentation.
Define primary and backup connection via constants
If you are running a multisite or website with advanced configurations, you may want to define the primary and backup connections using constants, allowing you to globally configure the plugin.
You will find these constants and additional information in our documentation:
